Happy birthday to former Ranger outfielder Rusty Greer, who turns 45 today.
Greer was a 10th round pick of the Rangers out of the University of Montevallo in Alabama, and is the only major leaguer to be drafted out of the University of Montevallo. Greer had a solid seven year run as an outfielder for the Rangers, before injuries limited him and ultimately cut his career short.
