Rick Scuteri-US PRESSWIRE

Good morning. There are a lot of player/position previews out today.

First up, T.R. Sullivan takes a look at Leonys Martin as a key to the Rangers' season as he gets the chance to man center field without a platoon partner in 2014.

Richard Durrett previews the DH spot for the Rangers in 2014. The expectation right now is for Mitch Moreland to get the lion's share of at-bats as a DH.

Evan Grant offers up a profile on Robbie Ross as he heads to Surprise looking for a spot in the rotation -- at Round Rock or otherwise.

Gerry Fraley was on SportsDay On Air to give his thoughts on the rotation and on whether or not he believes Jon Daniels is finished acquiring pitching. (Spoiler: JD never rests.)

Durrett tackles yesterday's big topic of the timing on a possibly contract extension for Yu Darvish. Otherwise known as when Bob and Ray should start loading up a dump truck with hundos.

David Schoenfield has a list of the biggest winners among teams over the previous five seasons, the team's rank over the five years before that, and their payroll over that time. The Rangers did pretty well for themselves.

Durrett has some quotes from Prince Fielder who thinks Ron Washington is just the raddest dude ever.

Fraley notes that Engel Beltre's Licey team -- a team that Leonys Martin and Jurickson Profar also played on earlier in the season -- is one win away from winning the Dominican Republic winter league championship series and heading to the Caribbean World Series.

Finally:

It's going to be so hard to remain patient.
