No one is obsessing about the Rangers this morning.
Engel Beltre homered yesterday during the Dominican winter league playoffs.
Evan Grant lists his HOF ballot, and explains his reasoning for his vote. Grant's ballot: Jeff Bagwell, Craig Biggio, Tom Glavine, Greg Maddux, Edgar Martinez, Mike Mussina, Mike Piazza, Tim Raines, Frank Thomas and Larry Walker. While those aren't the ten candidates I would pick, Grant used all ten spots and all ten players he picked are HOF-worthy, in my mind, or at least have a very strong argument. This is what Dan Szymborski would categorize as an "A" ballot.
Joe Posnanski's top 100 players countdown continues with Roy Campanella at #66. It includes an unpleasant anecdote about a person named Jeff Heath, although it is not the Jeff Heath who plays for the Cowboys.
