Per reports on Twitter, Tim Bogar will not return to the Rangers as a coach in 2015.
Bogar was the team's interim manager after Ron Washington resigned in September, after spending the season as the team's bench coach prior to Wash's resignation. It was his first season with the club. Bogar was one of three finalists, along with Kevin Cash and Jeff Banister, for the job of manager going forward, but the team ended up hiring Banister.
Jon Daniels says that, if Bogar does not find a job elsewhere, he could return to the team in a non-coaching capacity in 2015. I suspect, however, that's a scenario Bogar would like to avoid.
