Good morning, everyone...

That was quite a day of playoff baseball yesterday.

Stefan Stevenson has a story on the Rangers announcing that they will be interviewing six additional candidates for their managerial job next week.

T.R. Sullivan also has a story on the Rangers interviewing managerial candidates, saying that Jeff Banister was "highly recommended" by Clint Hurdle, and that Kevin Cash "impressed people with his baseball savvy" when he was a member of the Round Rock Express in 2011.

Evan Grant has a story on the Rangers managerial search, and notes that all the candidates remaining to be interviewed have connections to either Clint Hurdle, Terry Francona and John Farrell, with Tim Bogar having connections to all three.

Anthony Andro also has a story on the manager search, noting that Jeff Banister and Torey Lovullo both interviewed for the Houston job that ultimately went to A.J. Hinch.
