Tim Bogar, who started 2014 as the Texas bench coach, and then was the interim manager for the Rangers last year after Ron Washington resigned, has joined the Anaheim Angels as a special assistant to the general manager.
Bogar interviewed for the Rangers' permanent managerial job, and was one of three finalists for the position, though the team ultimately went with Jeff Banister.
Bogar got good reviews for his work in Texas, and I suspect he'll be back in a major league uniform position in 2016.
