Friday morning Rangers news and links

Stacy Revere

Good morning, everybody...

Adrian Beltre won the Silver Slugger Award yesterday for being the best hitter among third basemen.

Jeff Wilson writes that Tim Bogar thought he was going to be the Rangers' manager, but thinks Jon Daniels wanted a "new voice."  Bogar also says he wanted to return as bench coach, but the Rangers wanted to go in a different direction.

MLB.com has a story on Ranger minor league shortstop Michael DeLeon, who, at the age of 17, is the youngest player in the AFL.

And at the WFAA website, Eddie Middlebrook hands out grades to the Rangers' relief pitchers from 2014.
