Texas Rangers Offseason Grade: Jay Jaffe has a piece at SI.com where he grades the offseasons for each A.L. team, and he awards the Rangers a "B" for their efforts.
Jaffe praises the Rangers for making significant moves to shore up their offense, but notes that they still have an issue with the back of their rotation and with the DH spot. A "B" seems like a reasonable grade, to me.
The A.L. West teams all end up in the B+ to B- range, but the whole thing is worth reading, to get a sense for what all every American League club accomplished over the winter.
