Texas Ranger stadium name change: Globe Life Park

The Ballpark in Arlington will now be known as Globe Life Park

Texas Ranger stadium name change: Globe Life Park is the new name of what used to be the Ballpark in Arlington, then became Ameriquest Field, then changed back to Ranger Ballpark in Arlington.

Globe Life and Accident Insurance Company is based out of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  I don't really know much about the company other than that.

No word yet on how much the naming rights fees are, but I suspect it will be in the $3-5 million per year range.  When that information is revealed, I'll update this post to include that info.

UPDATE -- It is a ten year deal.
