Jurickson Profar will be playing second base for the Rangers in their exhibition game tonight.
Profar is the team's starting second baseman, and this wouldn't normally be news, except that he's been dealing with shoulder tendinitis, which has kept him from playing in the field, and then got his wisdom teeth removed last week, which kept him from the lineup altogether.
Profar is expected to be ready to be at second base every day once the season starts, but with Opening Day just two weeks away, the Rangers will feel better about his situation once they've seen him get a few games in at second base and see that his arm isn't a problem.
