Mitch Moreland leaves game with tight oblique

Mitch Moreland left tonight's spring training game after two innings due to a tight oblique muscle

Mitch Moreland injury:  Texas Ranger first baseman/COF/DH Mitch Moreland has left tonight's game after two innings due to a tight oblique, per the beat writers on Twitter.

Moreland has been expected to be the team's primary DH to start the season.  We'll have to wait and see how serious the oblique problem is, and whether it could impact Moreland's availability to be ready by Opening Day.  Moreland has spent time on the d.l. each of the past two seasons with hamstring injuries.

If Moreland isn't ready to go to start the year, the Rangers would likely look to Michael Choice as their primary DH.  This would also open the door for Jim Adduci, Andy Parrino or Robinson Chirinos to make the team in the 4th bench spot.
