Baseball Prospectus has a new piece up, ranking all the MLB teams in terms of their under-25 talent (players who are 25 or younger as of April 1, 2014).
The Rangers' top three players 25 and under are all major leaguers who don't have "prospect" eligibility left -- Elvis Andrus, Jurickson Profar, and Martin Perez. The ranking of Elvis over Profar will, I'm sure, elicit some discussion.
Among the A.L. West teams, Anaheim is 26th, staying out of the cellar almost entirely on the strength of Mike Trout, while Seattle, Houston and the A's rank 14-15-16.
