So that wasn't fun but let's never forget the time J.P. Arencibia drew a walk from Cliff Lee

When word came out that Yu Darvish would start the season on the disabled list and Tanner Scheppers would make the Opening Day start, I mentally chalked the game up as a loss. I mean, Tanner Scheppers in his first big league start vs Cliff Lee? Yeah. That didn't sound like a winner.

But then the Rangers scored 8 runs on Cliff Lee. In any game where Cliff Lee allows 8 runs, you should win. The Rangers allowed 14 runs - seven off of Scheppers - and nearly every guy they sent to the mound was atrocious at best. A 14-10 final score brings back unpleasant memories of the 2001-2003 Rangers.

These are the early April Rangers. This is just what they are right now.

Player of the Game: Alex Rios once made it seem like the Rangers could win this game.
