Evan Grant writes that the Rangers' offseason additions were key yesterday in helping the Rangers to their 3-2 win.

Durrett praises Adrian Beltre for coming up big late in the game yesterday.

Tim Cowlishaw, who was in panic mode just a few days ago, says that while things were "desperate" for the Rangers on Monday, the performance of Martin Perez, and the Rangers having several starters close to returning, give fans reason for hope.

Yu Darvish threw 86 pitches in a bullpen session yesterday, and everything seemed to go well, though Mike Maddux says they'll know more when they see how he feels today.

Darvish described his session as "so-so," but says he could pitch in a game now.

Colby Lewis threw 92 pitches in a minor league exhibition yesterday, and gave up a lot of hits and runs, but appears to be physically okay.
