Friday morning Rangers news and links

Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, everyone.

Jeff Wilson has a story in the S-T about how the Rangers are making the pundits who predicted the injuries would doom them look silly, and credits chemistry and leadership for the good start.

T.R Sullivan has a piece on the Rangers exceeding expectations early, with Adrian Beltre due to be activated today and Matt Harrison on Sunday.

Richard Durrett writes that the Rangers' bullpen outperforming the A's bullpen is a big part of why the Rangers are currently even with Oakland in the A.L. West.

Evan Grant has a blog post about Kevin Kouzmanoff returning to Texas to get his back examined.  Grant also writes that Neftali Feliz is going on the AAA disabled list with "general soreness."

Gerry Fraley has a story on Kouzmanoff.

Grant runs down the various injury issues.

There will be a pre-game ceremony to honor Michael Young before the game on May 17.

The S-T's notes have updates on some injured players, and talks about Darren Oliver's new role with the team.

Sullivan's notes hit on Neftali Feliz, Pedro Figueroa, Kevin Kouzmanoff and Darren Oliver.
