Matt Harrison is back on the active roster.
Per John Blake on Twitter, Harrison, who hasn't pitched in the majors since early April, 2013, has been activated from the disabled list today, as expected. He is making the start today against the Seattle Mariners.
To make room for Harrison on the 25 man roster, Luis Sardinas has been optioned to AA Frisco. Sardinas's stay in the minors could be a short one, however, as if Shin-Soo Choo isn't ready to play by tomorrow, the Rangers seem likely to put Choo on the d.l. Sardinas could be recalled immediately, rather than having to wait for 10 days, in order to replace a player who is on the d.l.
