We have the Rangers' lineup out for today's game, and after Michael Choice's, shall we say, adventurous outing in left field yesterday, with multiple balls being mis-played, Choice is on the bench today. Mitch Moreland is playing left field, while Shin-Soo Choo is the DH.
Per the beat writers on Twitter, Ron Washington wants Choo to DH today and then rest on the off day tomorrow before going back into the field on Friday.

The starting pitcher for the A's is righthander Jesse Chavez, a former Ranger who was dealt in 2006 to Pittsburgh so Texas could acquire Kip Wells.
