Nick Martinez optioned, Yu Darvish activated

As expected, Nick Martinez's stay in the major leagues was a short one.

Per John Blake on Twitter, Yu Darvish has been activated from the disabled list for today's game against the Tampa Bay Rays, and Nick Martinez has been optioned to AA:

Yu Darvish has been activated from 15 day DL. Nick Martinez has been optioned to Frisco.

Martinez will be part of the Frisco Roughriders' rotation going forward, while Yu Darvish will hopefully today become the first Ranger starting pitcher to pick up a win this season.

Another move should be coming in the next few days, with Colby Lewis expected to be recalled from the minors by April 10, when he has the right to opt out of his minor league contract if he isn't brought up to the majors.
