Per the beats, in what could be the prelude to the return of Colby Lewis, the Rangers have put Joe Saunders on the disabled list retroactive to April 5. Daniel McCutchen has been recalled from the minors to take Saunders' spot on the roster.

McCutchen has been on the Round Rock-to-Rangers yo-yo so far this year and probably shouldn't expect to be with the big league team for long.
