We have a couple of different pieces out there today that include scouting-type write-ups on some Rangers prospects...
BP has a free, not-behind-the-paywall writeup of some prospects that includes detailed reports on Joey Gallo, as well as 2013 first rounder Chi Chi Gonzalez.
And Nathaniel Stoltz has a writeup at Fangraphs on giant pitchers, which includes info and video on Rangers minor leaguer Jason Knapp. Knapp is a great big righthander who was a 2nd round pick of the Phillies in 2008, and went to Cleveland as part of the Cliff Lee trade. Baseball America had him as the #64 prospect in baseball prior to the 2010 season, but shoulder problems resulted in him not pitching the last three seasons. Texas signed him as a free agent and has been using him out of the bullpen for Myrtle Beach. He's an interesting story, and an interesting guy to keep an eye on going forward...
