Baseball America's latest mock draft has gone up, and in it, BA has the Rangers drafting high school outfielder Monte Harrison with their pick at #30. This is surprisingly, as Harrison was projected to go higher, but BA says he has had some "iffy" workouts of late. This would likely make the Rangers thrilled, as reports have indicated they really like Harrison and would love for him to fall to them at #30.
I'm going to stick with Georgia high school pitcher Spencer Adams as the Rangers' pick at #30, on the theory that Harrison doesn't fall that far (and BA doesn't have Adams going ahead of Texas in their latest mock draft), but I suspect that if both Harrison and Adams are on the board, the Rangers would grab Harrison.
