31-30 - Rangers again over .500 thanks to rookie dongs, gallant Darvish

Yu Darvish wasn't at his best but he found a way to hang on long enough for the Rangers to score more than the Indians

The Rangers got big home runs from Rougned Odor and Michael Choice and this ain't Round Rock.

Yu Darvish wasn't bad or anything, he just wasn't his usual dominant self. In fact, he ended up giving up the first three-run home run of his career to Lonnie Chisenhall. But this start was an answer to the kinds of games that the local media got on Yu for last season. He battled. He held on until the Rangers got the lead. He won.

Hopefully everyone will kindly shut up and enjoy Yu Darvish now.

Friendly reminder: Tomorrow's game begins at 3:05 PM CDT and will be shown on FOX Sports 1.
