Texas Rangers Top 20 Prospect List -- MLB Pipeline has an updated top 20 prospect list for the Texas Rangers out, and there's a bit of a surprise at the top, with Jorge Alfaro edging out Joey Gallo for the #1 spot in the rankings.
Its an interesting list, with Yeyson Yrizarri, Victor Payano and Jose Almonte being ranked higher than I would have expected. They also drop an 80 grade on Keone Kela's fastball, while Joey Gallo's power gets a 75 grade.
Anyway, an interesting read...check it out...
UPDATE -- Its been pointed out that this may be the old list from the offseason, and not yet updated, other than to replace players who have graduated. If that's the case, then this is less interesting. But hey, look at it anyway, because its not like talking about the major league team is more fun right now...
