Nick Tepesch allowed one hit through 5 1/3 innings and then the A's hit home runs in four of the next five hitters. Tepesch's problems when facing a lineup the third time through the order is well documented and you'd like to see him start to make adjustments in that respect.
For example:
Nick Tepesch's OPS against (before tonight): Pitches 1-25: .661 Pitches 26-50 .719 Pitches 51-75: .786 Pitches 76-100: .962

Tonight was not the night.
Player of the Game: Jim Adduci had a couple of hits, a walk, and a stolen base. That's a big win these days.
