Evan Grant, Jeff Wilson and T.R. Sullivan have all tweeted that Neftali Feliz has been recalled to join the Rangers in New York. Submariner Ben Rowen was optioned to make room on the 25 man roster.
It's been 3 years, 8 months and 12 days since Feliz struck out Alex Rodriguez to send the Rangers to their first World Series. Since then, Feliz has blown a World Series clinching save, reluctantly converted to a starter, torn his UCL to shreds and seems to have lost that easy gas that made him Happy.
Reports all year have seen flashes of electric stuff, but have mostly been ho-hum. Scott with a 140 character shoulder shrug:
Have seen Feliz at steady 94-96, and T92. Have seen killer sliders, and SL/CHs at middle-middle or middle-up. Depends on moon phase.
