The Spokane Indians, short-season A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, recorded an 11 inning no-hitter tonight.
Derek Thompson, Shane McCain, Adam Parks and Luis Pollorena combined on the no hitter, while registering 14 Ks, walking just 2 batters, and hitting a batter.
The Spokane offense was held scoreless as well until the 11th inning, when 2014 29th round draft pick Luke Tendler hit his Northwest League-leading 9th homer of the season, a 3 run shot that gave the Indians their final margin of victory.
