Nomar Mazara hit his first AA home run last night

Nomar Mazara video:  outfielder Nomar Mazara has taken a big step forward this season, earning a promotion from low-A Hickory to AA Frisco at the age of just 19.

Last night, Mazara hit his very first home run as a member of the Frisco Roughriders, which you can see here:

Mazara is now putting up a .214/.233/.429 line for the Roughriders, with a walk and six Ks in 30 plate appearances.

Righthanded pitcher Alec Asher also had a solid start for the Roughriders yesterday, and you can check out Asher fanning an opponent in the video below:

Asher has a 4.00 ERA on the season in 135 innings for Frisco this year.
