Rangers lose game No. 81 and clinch no better than .500 season

The Rangers were winning 2-0 tonight. Nick Tepesch was in danger in the 5th inning and Ron Washington had seen enough even though Tepesch was only at 89 pitches.

And then, after taking Tepesch out for Roman Mendez, three pitches later, Jason Castro hit a grand slam and the Astros won by the same 4-2 score.

And now the Astros are one win away from taking the Silver Boot from Arlington.
