Nomar Mazara is "frighteningly talented," per Keith Law

In his latest chat session, Keith Law speaks glowingly of Nomar Mazara

Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

Keith Law did a chat session over at ESPN today in which he describes 19 year old Rangers outfielder Nomar Mazara as "frighteningly talented," and suggests that he could be a September call-up next year for Texas.

Mazara took a big leap forward this year, putting up a .264/.358/.470 line for low-A Hickory (including a .295/..402/.566 line after May 18), and a .306/.381/.518 line in 97 plate appearances for Frisco.  Mazara, who doesn't turn 20 until April, will likely start next year in AA, but like his Frisco teammates Joey Gallo and Jorge Alfaro, he looks like he could be in the major leagues in the next couple of years.

Amongst the various other questions Law fields is what to do with the Elvis Andrus/Jurickson Profar/Rougned Odor logjam, with his preference dovetailing with what I'd like to see the Rangers do.

Anyway, good stuff there...check it out...
