Saturday morning Rangers news and links

Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, everyone...

Anthony Andro's game story highlights Derek Holland's performance, with Holland joining Fergie Jenkins as the only pitchers in Rangers history to have three straight 7+ inning games without walking anyone.

Jeff Wilson writes in his game story that Holland's performance last night should have been a learning experience for the Rangers' young starting pitchers.

T.R. Sullivan's game story also sings the praises of Holland, while noting he had to have Notre Dame stuff in his locker because of a lost bet with Daniel Robertson.

Calvin Watkins has his Rapid Reaction to yesterday's 2-1 win at the ESPN Dallas Rangers blog.

Watkins writes that Holland is showing he can be relied upon in 2015.  Gerry Fraley writes that Holland is performing like an ace since coming off the d.l.

Sullivan writes about Alex Rios, Jim Adduci and Jake Smolinski's continued unavailability.

The S-T's notes talk about Lisalverto Bonilla starting in place of Scott Baker today, and updates on Alex Rios, Jim Adduci and Robinson Chirinos.
