The Rangers might not lose 100 games after all. As if I couldn't think less of the National League, then this series happened. The Rangers (The 2014 Rangers!) outscored the Braves 15-6 over these three games. Before this series, the Braves had postseason aspirations. After this series, they should consider a formal request to remove themselves from the sport of baseball.
Player of the Game: Colby Lewis is now the Rangers' season leader in wins, starts, and innings pitched. That's something. The best player today, however, was Luis Sardinas who had a career best game while going 3-4 with two doubles, two runs scored, and collecting three RBI. Interim manager Tim Bogar's edict that Sardinas play more down the stretch paid off nicely for him today.
