Sunday morning Rangers news and link

Well, that winning streak was fun while it lasted, but the Angels had to ruin the fun last night...

Jeff Wilson's game story talks about the Angels beating up on Colby Lewis once again.

T.R. Sullivan's game story laments Lewis's start, as Colby ends the season with an ERA over 9 against the Angels.

Evan Grant's game story also talks about Lewis's struggles against the Angels, both yesterday and this year.

Elvis Andrus didn't play winter ball for the first time last season, and his offseason preparation (or lack thereof) ended up being a problem this year.  Evan writes that the Rangers and Elvis are working on an offseason program to ensure that that mistake isn't repeated.

Wilson writes that the Rangers winning streak is helping to illustrate the depth that the Rangers will have in 2015.

Sullivan says that Adam Rosales is making the Rangers think about bringing him back as the team's utility infielder next year.

Jim Reeves takes a look at how the 2014 Rangers compare to the worst teams in franchise history.

Here's a really good story from earlier this week on former Ranger C.J. Edwards...the Rangers ended up giving him a $50,000 bonus, much higher than a guy taken in the 48th round would normally get.

The S-T's notes talk about Tim Bogar focusing on showing he should be the Rangers' manager next year, Adam Rosales as utility infielder, and Nick Tepesch having two starts left this year.
