The Texas Rangers playoff schedule for the 2015 American League Division Series:
The 2015 ALDS will feature the Texas Rangers going up against the Toronto Blue Jays in one series, with the Kansas City Royals facing off against either the New York Yankees or the Houston Astros in the other series. I'm going to be rooting for the Astros over the Yankees, mainly because I think the Rangers have a better shot at good TV slots if the Yankees aren't in the other series.
The schedule (all times are TBD):
Game 1 -- Thursday, October 8, 2015, at Toronto, at either 2:37 or 3:07 Central, on Fox Sports 1.
Game 2 -- Friday, October 9, 2015, at Toronto, at 11:45 a.m. Central on MLB Network.
Game 3-- Sunday, October 11, 2015, at Texas, at 7:10 p.m. Central on Fox Sports 1.
Game 4 -- Monday, October 12, 2015, at Texas (if necessary)
Game 5 -- Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at Toronto (if necessary)
With the two off days, Cole Hamels can start Game 2 and Game 5 and be on his normal four days of rest in both games.
The A.L. is being televised on Fox and its associated networks, while the N.L. is going to be on TBS.
