Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, everyone...

Gold Glove Awards were announced yesterday, and no Ranger won a Gold Glove.  Adrian Beltre was a finalist, and while he wouldn't have been undeserving, it is hard to argue against Manny Machado winning.

Shawn Tolleson has been named the Rangers' Pitcher of the Year, as voted by the D/FW chapter of the BBWAA.

Jeff Banister was named a finalist for A.L. Manager of the Year.  Evan Grant writes that it is how the Rangers started that could earn Banister Manager of the Year honors.

Mike Rosenbaum has a piece that talks about Lewis Brinson continuing to hit this year, whether it is in the Cal League, the Texas League, the PCL, the AFL, or the Puerto Rican Winter League.

Jurickson Profar, meanwhile, hit a home run in AFL action yesterday.

Stefan Stevenson has notes on the Rangers in the S-T.
