Kris Bryant named N.L. Rookie of the Year

Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant has been named the National League Rookie of the Year

Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant has been unanimously named the National League Rookie of the Year.  Bryant was given the first place vote on all 30 ballots.

Matt Duffy of the Giants finished in second place, garnering 22 2nd place votes and 4 3rd place votes.  Jung Ho Kang of the Pirates was in third place, followed by Noah Syndergaard of the Mets.  Kang and Syndergaard got 4 and 3 second place votes, respectively.  Justin Bour of the Marlins got the other second place vote.

Joc Pederson and Stephen Piscotty each received a third place vote, and were tied for sixth.
