2016 World Series odds: Texas Rangers at 14:1

Bovada has released their odds for the 2016 World Series, and the Rangers are at 14:1

2016 World Series odds:  Texas Rangers are at 14:1 to win the 2016 World Series, according to the most recent odds released by Bovada.  Also at 14:1 are the Houston Astros and the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The Chicago Cubs are the favorites, according to Bovada, at 11:1.  A half-dozen teams are at 12:1 -- Kansas City, the Dodgers, the Mets, the Cardinals, the Nationals and the Blue Jays.

The Royals and Jays are the only A.L. teams with better odds than the Rangers.  Among their A.L. West brethren, the Angels are 15 20:1, Seattle is at 25:1, and Oakland is at 50:1.

If you are looking for a longshot, you're going to want to bet on a National League team.  Eight N.L. teams are at least 50:1 shots, with the longest odds being assigned to the Philadelphia Phillies at 200:1, followed by the Atlanta Braves and the Colorado Rockies, each at 100:1.
