The Texas Rangers announced they extended a qualifying offer to Yovani Gallardo yesterday.

Jon Daniels called the decision to make the qualifying offer "fairly easy."

Levi Weaver goes through a possible collection of offseason moves for the Rangers this offseason.  The one big move where I question the feasibility is signing Yoenis Cespedes to a 6 year, $120M deal, as I expect Cespedes to sign with someone for more than that.
