The Texas Rangers have released their 2016 spring training schedule

Texas Rangers 2016 spring training schedule:  The Rangers have announced their schedule of games for spring training, 2016, and things are so slow this offseason I'm actually devoting a post to it.

Aside from the Arizona games, Texas will be playing the Royals in San Antonio on Friday, March 18, and Saturday, March 19.  Texas will also play a pair of exhibitions against the Indians at Globe Life Park on Friday, April 1, and Saturday, April 2.

The Rangers open the regular season at home on April 4 with three games in Seattle, then travel to Anaheim for four games, go to Seattle for three games, then return home for four games against the Orioles before getting their first day off of the year on April 18.  The Rangers have a busy early schedule, with 36 games in the first 38 days of the season.
