Sunday morning Rangers news and links

Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, everyone....

Jeff Wilson writes that the Rangers have done less this offseason than the rest of the A.L. West, though that is largely by design.

The S-T has a story about the proposed development deal for the area around Globe Life Park.

Bud Kennedy writes that such a development would likely put an end to speculation about the Rangers moving to Dallas.

Hmmmm...what else...

Well, Charlie Morton was traded by the Pirates to the Phillies, which is noteworthy mainly because Evan Grant had mentioned him as a possible Rangers target.  Morton is not good and makes $8 million in 2016, so I don't think he's someone the Rangers should have been after, but now that he's been sent to Philly, that should put that to rest.

That's pretty much it.  Its a dull offseason for the Rangers, I know.
