Good morning.

At day one of the Winter Meetings, the Rangers were looking at options for a catcher while shopping around Mitch Moreland, writes Evan Grant.

T.R. Sullivan writes that the Rangers have areas of strength that they are willing to deal from to add a starter and/or catcher.

Jeff Wilson summarizes Monday's rumors with the Rangers eyeing Joe Kelly, Colby Lewis, and catchers while teams are calling about arms in the Texas bullpen.

One such arm eliciting calls, as Grant writes, is de facto closer Shawn Tolleson whom the Rangers could part with in the right deal.

Sullivan writes that while the Rangers would like to add another innings eater or two, they are excited about having Yu Darvish and Cole Hamels topping their 2016 rotation.

Stefan Stevenson offers up some notes from Nashville as well as items on the Rangers looking for depth and Yovani Gallardo's status.

MLB.com's Andrew Simon unveils the Arizona Fall League Top Prospect Team with Jurickson Profar making the list at DH.

Finally, MLB is auctioning off some cool things for baseball fans and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Do It For Durrett Foundation. One of the items up for auction, as Stevenson notes, is the chance to watch a game with Jon Daniels. So, get bidding if you want the chance to ask JD what his Lone Star Ball username is.

Have a nice day.
