Sunday morning Rangers news and links

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Good morning, everyone...

The DMN has a spring training preview that focuses on four questions:  How Jeff Banister will adapt to being the manager, whether Ryan Rua can solidify the left field position, who will claim jobs in the bullpen, and who will lead off.

The S-T has a position-by-position breakdown of the team heading into spring training, as well as a list of everyone who is coming to major league camp.

The S-T also has not just one, but two articles on Banister.

As we noted last night, the Rangers signed veteran reliever Jamey Wright to a minor league deal.  T.R. Sullivan saysWright will be among the group of righties fighting for roles behind Neftali Feliz and Tanner Scheppers.

Evan Grant notes that Jamey Wright leads the majors in relief innings since the Rangers converted him to a reliever in 2008.

And finally, the Kansas City Star had a college team re-enact the play in Game 7 of the World Series where Alex Gordon was held at third, to see what would have happened if Gordon had been sent home.
