Sad news -- Leonard Nimoy has died

Sad news today, as legendary actor Leonard Nimoy has passed away at the age of 83.

Nimoy, of course, played the iconic character of Spock in the Star Trek series, but was also a director, a writer, a photographer and a poet -- quite the Renaissance Man.

I'm finding myself surprisingly bummed out by this news.  He was one of those people who seemed to be ageless and timeless.
