2015 Baseball Prospectus Top 101 prospects:  The Texas Rangers have six prospects in the BP top 101 prospect list, which was just released today.

Not surprisingly, Joey Gallo cracks the top 20, coming in at #15 on their list, between Alex Meyer of the Twins and Robert Stephenson of the Reds.

Interestingly, Chi Chi Gonzalez makes the top 30 -- he is ranked #29, between Kohl Stewart and A.J. Cole.

Jorge Alfaro is two slots behind Gonzalez, at #31, and Nomar Mazara is at #40, and impressive showing for him.

Jake Thompson, acquired from Detroit in the Joakim Soria trade, is at #47, and Nick Williams rounds out the Rangers' contingent at #71.

Probably the most eye-opening ranking is Chi Chi Gonzalez being as high as he is -- he's someone I expected to see in the back half of most top 100s.  Mazara cracking the top 50 is impressive, as well.
