Texas Rangers spring injury updates: Every spring there are various minor issues that crop up as players get used to being on the field again, and via Twitter, we've got a bunch of updates on those things this morning.
Derek Holland, who was scratched from yesterday's intrasquad game with a sore shoulder, says he is fine, and is going to throw today. Per the Twitter reports, Jon Daniels says Holland is expected to throw a bullpen soon, and throw in a Cactus League game this weekend or early next week.
Elvis Andrus is having a sore knee checked out by Dr. Keith Meister, but everyone is saying it isn't thought to be serious. He won't play in the intrasquad game (if the game happens -- it is raining in Surprise), but could play Wednesday.
If the game happens, Mitch Moreland, who is coming off ankle surgery, will hit, but won't run the bases.
And Michael Kirkman, who was slowed with a shoulder issue last week, played catch today, and is expected to move to a half-mound later this week.
