Evan Grant projects the Opening Day roster for the Rangers

Rick Scuteri-USA TODAY Sports

The Rangers' intrasquad game today was rained out, so instead of watching baseball, Evan Grant has put together his projected Opening Day roster for the Rangers.

No real big surprises on Evan's projected roster.  Only two players not on the 40 man roster -- Ryan Ludwick and Jamey Wright -- make the team under his projected scenario, and the only lefty in the bullpen is Alex Claudio, a changeup specialist who is probably going to have minimal splits.

Evan has Ross Detwiler as the #5 starter, and at this point, I'd probably take the field over Detwiler, although he's probably the favorite at this point.  Assuming everyone is healthy, Ludwick is probably battling Kyle Blanks and Nate Schierholtz for a roster spot, and that's probably the only spot among position players that is really up for grabs, unless Ryan Rua or Delino DeShields, Jr., have a disastrous camp.

So what do you think?  Any surprises?  Anyone you think Evan is overlooking?
