Nick Martinez named Texas Rangers fifth starter

Nick Martinez has been named the Rangers fifth starter, according to be beat guys on Twitter.  He will start either Game Two or Game Three of the season against the Oakland A's.

Martinez was competing with Nick Tepesch, Anthony Ranaudo, Lisalverto Bonilla, and Chi Chi Gonzalez to fill the rotation spot that opened up when Yu Darvish underwent Tommy John surgery.  Tepesch, according to T.R. Sullivan, could end in as the long man to start the year.
