Yu Darvish, the Texas Rangers righty who was pulled from yesterday's Cactus League game after just 12 pitches due to triceps tightness, says he feels significantly better today, although the Rangers are going to have him undergo an MRI today anyway out of an abundance of caution.
Darvish, of course, missed the end of last season with elbow inflammation. This appears to be a separate issue, but given the importance of Darvish to the Rangers, they are understandably going to be extremely careful with his arm -- much as they did last year, when they shut him down because of his elbow issue.
The results of the MRI are expected to be known tomorrow.
