Okay, everyone...as a reminder, two years ago we had an LSB meetup at Minute Maid Park for the Rangers game against the Astros. It was the second game of the year, and I think everyone who went remembers it well because:
1) It was a blast
2) Yu Darvish came one out away from recording a perfect game
3) After the game, there was Noah and the Ark level rain that we had to drive through
We didn't do it last year, basically because I couldn't get my act together in time to get something organized. But I have gotten it in place for this year, and have paid and reserved Coke Corner at Minute Maid Park for us on May 4, 2015 -- ten days from now, with a 7:05 start.
For those who didn't go in 2013, Coke Corner is a pavilion above the center field stands. There are bleachers, tables, etc., and provides a great environment for hanging out, watching the game and talking baseball.
