Oh, and there was a major league game yesterday.
In case you were in a cave yesterday, the Rangers and Angels are reportedly close to completing a deal that would send Josh Hamilton to the Texas Rangers, along with a huge chunk of cash, for nothing.
Evan Grant says the Rangers would take on little of the financial obligation for Hamilton. In a story that includes supportive quotes from Hamilton's former Ranger teammates, Evan says the Rangers would pay a "token amount" of Hamilton's salary.
