Joey Gallo, the third baseman who is the top prospect in the Rangers system, had a minor surgery to remove a few days ago to remove the Os Trigonum bone from his left ankle.
Gallo, who is supposed to be sidelined for approximately three weeks while recuperating from the surgery, is in a walking boot now, and courtesy of Anthony Andro, we can actually see it:
